I was raised in Teague, Texas as the youngest of three sons. My parents divorced when I was 9 and my mother was the primary spiritual influence in my life. I was baptized at age 12 in Centerville, TX. At a very young age I knew that I wanted to preach the gospel and I spent my teenage years developing my speaking skills through school events and some (very!) patient brethren.
I attended Texas A&M University and studied history and communication. It was there that I met my wife, Sarah. She has been a wonderful blessing to me and was willing to accept me and become a part of my dream to preach.
After graduation in 2004, we moved to Grand Saline, TX to work with the church there. After almost 5 years there, we moved to the Dallas area to work with the Campbell Road church in Garland, TX. We lived there for about 6 and a half years. In October 2015 we came to work with the brethren in Fairview Park.
Along the way God has blessed us with three wonderful children and hundreds of friends. We have seen firsthand the goodness of God’s people and the power of the gospel.
I love preaching the gospel. I love to study the Bible and to bring it to life for others. I love associating with people who love God and are trying to grow to be more like Jesus. Most of all, I love helping people connect with the God who has the power to change lives.
