Who We Are
The Fairview church of Christ consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. The Christians that meet and worship together at Fairview believe that the Bible is Truth and our only guide to eternal life. (Romans 1: 16, 2 Timothy 3: 16-17) We encourage everyone to study God's Word for himself or herself and not rely on what someone says. Our aim is to preach the Bible without adding anything to, or take anything away from it. (Revelation 22: 18-19)

What to expect:
Going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of a nerve-racking experience. To help avoid any worries, here's a brief summary of what you can expect when you visit. If you don't understand something, please ask before or after our services and we'll be glad to provide you an answer.
Our Sunday morning Bible Study meets in age-appropriate classes for everyone from pre-school to adult. A qualified Bible teacher leads each class. Questions and comments from the class is encouraged. Simply raise your hand to be recognized by the class leader. Click here for more information about our Bible Classes.
We begin our Sunday morning worship period at 10:00AM. Following some brief announcements, a passage of scripture is read. A song leader directs the congregation in the singing of hymns without accompanying instruments (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). One of our men will speak a prayer.
Consistent with Acts 20:7, we observe the Lord's Supper every Sunday. I Corinthians 11:20-29 tells us the significance of the bread and the fruit of the vine.
Our evangelist will deliver a message. After his message, the congregation sings a song designed to encourage those who are not New Testament Christians to surrender themselves to Jesus in obedience to His gospel. Sermons are posted to this website. Click here to see a list of the most recent sermons. The service is dismissed after a final prayer. Typically, the morning worship period ends between 11:00-11:15 AM.
The Sunday evening service is at 5:00 P.M. We have Bible Study on the first and third Sundays of each month in age-appropriate classes for about 45 minutes. Click here for more information about our Bible Classes. The congregation then assembles in the auditorium for a brief message of exhortation, a final song, announcements, and closing prayer.
On the second Sunday of the month, we have a worship service that is very similar to the morning schedule of activities. The fourth Sunday of the month is devoted to singing, scripture reading and prayer. The Sunday evening service usually ends by 6:00 PM.
Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM, we assemble for Bible Study in age-appropriate classes for about 45 minutes. Everyone then assembles in the auditorium for a brief message of exhortation, a final song, announcements, and closing prayer.
